Rasmussen Park

3584 Mira Loma Dr, Cameron Park

This fenced and shaded playground between two little league fields has some fun features, such as a “telescope”, climbing/sliding tunnel, rock wall with treasure map underneath, matching games, and a really fast slide.

Take Mira Loma Drive, east of Cameron Park Drive

Christa McAuliffe Park

2400 Merrychase Dr, Cameron Park

This park on the frontage road off the freeway has a large play structure with lots of slides and a restroom. This park also contains a skate park.

From Hwy 50, take Cambridge exit and drive west on the frontage road to the north of the freeway. Park is on the left.

Cameron Park Lake*

2989 Cambridge Rd, Cameron Park

This park has a lake with paddle boat rentals and concessions (seasonally), restrooms, shaded picnic areas, and a playground. Sometimes turtles can be seen sunning themselves if you take a walk around the lake.

Take the Cambridge Road exit from Hwy 50 and travel north approximately 4 miles. Approx 20-25 min from central Folsom

Bradford Park

4300 Motherlode Drive, Shingle Springs

Located off the Ponderosa Road, exit Highway 50, this 5-acre park consists of a brand new playground, small sports field and large covered picnic areas.

Placerville Playgrounds

Benham Park/Placerville City Park

3071 Benham Street, Placerville

Bring a picnic and come enjoy a leisurely lunch in the park just a few blocks off Hwy 50. This park offers two semi-enclosed play structures with swings, slides and various apparatus, including a tot lot. Restrooms available.

(Placerville) Lions Park

3633 Cedar Ravine, Placerville

A 24-acre community park located on Cedar Ravine Road. Built largely during the mid-1960’s by the Placerville Lions Club, the park includes softball, tennis, a play structure, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, a field, off-street parking, and restrooms.

(Placerville) Rotary Park

3155 Clark Street, Placerville

is located on Clark Street and encompasses 4 acres, centered on a lighted little-league baseball field and terraced spectator seating areas. The park also includes a children’s play area, picnic tables, and restrooms

Lumsden Park

3144 Wiltse Rd, Placerville

Occupies 4 acres in a wooded hilly area on the southeastern side of town. The park is divided into three spaces: a pond to the south, a wooded picnic area with restrooms and horseshoe pits north of the pond, and a children’s play area across Wiltse Road from the picnic area. A seasonal stream winds through the picnic area from the pond, and a bridge across the stream provides access to the restroom facility. On-street parking is located between the play area and the picnic facilities. This park is in a relatively secluded location, leading to concerns by some about it’s cleanliness and safety.

Orchard Hill Park

2355 Green Wing Ln, Placerville

One of the smaller and less attended parks in Placerville that serves the local neighborhood with a field, basketball courts, a tot lot, and individual picnic tables with barbeques. A massive oak tree occupies the center of the site. Head-in on-street parking is available.

Duffy Park

3000 Arizona Way, Placerville

a small 1.5-acre neighborhood park located between Clay and Pleasant Streets at Arizona Drive. The park contains a children’s play area, a multi-use field, individual picnic tables, and a perimeter path.
