Member Benefits
There’s a range of tangible and intangible benefits to joining Sierra Moms. Whether you’re new to the area and looking to meet other moms, in need of activities to engage the little ones, looking for a way to get more involved in the community, or in search of some time just for you- Sierra Moms is the place to be.

With over 150+ member families, our group is large enough to have a robust and diverse mix of member-led activities, but small enough that members feel like part of the family. Sierra Moms’ event calendar is constantly filled with recurring activities as well as special moms-only and all member social events that change on an ongoing basis.

As a member-led organization, our activities and clubs reflect the current interests of our members and the capacity of the volunteers who lead them. We are always open to creating new activities and clubs when interest is expressed, and we encourage members to suggest and lead groups they’re passionate about.
New Member Meet-Ups
Held 1–2 times a month. Gives new and existing members and children the opportunity to meet and socialize in either a park or other informal setting.
Mom's Night Out and clubs
We currently have a book club, happy hour for moms, trivia night and more!
Seasonal parties
Seasonal parties are offered each year for the whole family. Our Summer Splash and Holiday parties are always member favorites.
Board and leadership positions
Members have the opportunity to get involved in open Board and leadership positions in areas such as advertising, social media, activities coordination, and more.
Members-only Facebook group
Children’s play dates and stroller walks
We meet at a park or coffee shop and take a stroll or hang out and chat.
Activities, social gatherings, and field trips
Members have hosted several outings to visit local children’s attractions, tour businesses, meet first responders, hike child-friendly trails, attend theater performances and so much more. Activities take place both during weekdays and weekends.

Who can join?
Our group primarily serves mothers of children ages 0 to 6. Active members with older children can choose to maintain Alumni Membership with Sierra Moms to enjoy mom-centered activities and occasional activities that are suitable for school-aged children.

Membership dues
Sierra Moms’ annual membership dues of $50 gets you access to everything the group has to offer.
